Indian Cost Guard Recruitment 2016 - Assistant Commandant Vacancy

Indian Cost Guard has issued a notification for the recruitment for Assistance Commandant for 2017 Batch. 

The Candidates must have completed their 10+2, Diploma  B.Tech/BE. The eligible candidates can apply on or before 01 June 2016.

Branches to apply for:

1.  Assistant Commandant General Duty.
2. Assistant Commandant General Duty(Pilot).
3. Assistant Commandant(Commercial Pilot Licence - SSA).
4. Assistant Commandant(Electrical/Electronics).
5. Assistant Commandant(Mechanical/Aeronautical) .

Eligibility Criteria for Different Posts:

    Educational Qualifications:

1. General Duty and General Duty(Pilot): Candidates should have done Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics are subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks in Maths and Physics. Candidates not in possession with Maths and Physics in 10 + 2  or intermediate are not eligible for General Duty(GD) and General Duty (Pilot).
2. Technical Branch(Mechanical and Electrical): Engineering degree with 60%  marks in aggregate or should have passed Sections A and B examination for the Institution of Engineers(India) in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace or Electronics or Electrical or Telecommunication or Instrumentation and Control or Power or Electronics and Communication or Power  Engineering or  Power Electronics.
3. Commercial Pilot: 12^th   pass with 60% marks in aggregate and should possess current/valid Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA on the date of submission of application form. 
4. Ground Duty(Women): Should hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% off marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics subjects upto intermediate or class 12^th of 10+2+3 scheme of education with 60% of aggregate marks of both subjects.

 Age Limit for various posts:

1. General Duty: 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1996 (including both dates).
2. General Duty(Pilot): 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1998(including both dates).
3. Technical Branch(Mechanical and Electrical): 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1996 (including both dates).
4.  Pilot(CPL): 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1998(including both dates).
5. General Duty(Women): 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1998(including both dates).

 Important Dates:

• Starting date for submission of Online Application: 23 May 2016.
• Last date for submission of Online Application: 01 June 2016.

 Selection Procedure: The applications will be shortilisted based on the percentage and it can go  higher if the number of applications are more. Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for  Preliminary Selection which consist of Aptitude Test, Mental Ability Test, Picture Perception and  Group Discussion.
